Here at Nulu we are ready to deliver an amazing winter season of hot Music. We are extremely excited to welcome Elisa Elisa to the label with her new “Kabylia EP” including two dope and authentic tracks to take your dance floor to another dimension. Elisa pours her soul into her productions and gives life to this fantastic EP. We asked her what this EP meant to her and her response is clear, “Kabylia” is a tribute to my North African roots. Homeland of the Kabyle. Kabylia is a beautiful region of Algeria, where my mother grew up. In the track “Kabylia“ I recreated a traditional celebration with my own voice, playing with different tones and punctuating the party with an ancestral yell of joy, named the zaghrouta, Yellah“ means let’s go and it is her invitation to join the party and to celebrate all together. With “Kabylia“ and “Yellah“ Elisa honors her Berber ancestors by producing, singing and creating music from the heart. It couldn’t be a more perfect time for the diversity of music to be the universal language that brings the world together. We are proud and ready to dance together with Kabylia EP…YELLAH!
