Aero Manyelo Feat. Ernest “Masiku”

NULU017 | 2010-11-30 – NuLu Music is proud to feature Aero Manyelo’s “Masiku” (Herbal 3 Records) with collaborations from Ivory Park’s Ernest Chauke from Xikhongolotani Music.
Masiku is a traditional Afrodeep song inspired by a worldwide view of society. Its production is rooted notably from African elements with emotionally charging vocals that give it a distinctive style. The record maybe due to the steel drum ensemble or that old school ‘Jeff Maluleke’ melody that Aero used to capture the traditional ear…or perhaps Ernest’s harmonies are in tune with one’s spirit so much so that the message in the music is the same even to the urban ear.
Sung in Tsonga/Shangaan one of South Africa’s 13 official languages, Ernest’s mesmerizing and unique voice generates awareness that reminds us of the relentless grip some people have on their love for money and material things. The harm from such material excess is now evident in some people’s failures to love or be loved genuinely and unconditionally. .
Masiku” features some great remixes, with no other than NuLu’s own Antonello Coghe with Filipe Narciso, as well as, Essential I & Mindlo, Kemlic Bokaba , Herbal 3 Rec and a unique twist from Ricone.
