Monocles & Slezz “Umba Kayo”

NULU031 | 2012-10-17 – As NuLu Music prepares for (ADE) The Amsterdam Dance Event, the world’s leading electronic music conference and the biggest club festival in the world, we are excited to release Umba Kayo – Umba (swahili) means to create or make. The inspiration came from the chants and sounds that are “made” (produced) by children across Africa when they are gathered together in chanting for their rituals. Kayo means a beautiful generation. Hence the inspiration comes from “a creation of an excellent generation” that will carry on to sing this African chants.
–  by young South African duo, Monocles & Slezz, presents itself to be yet another fine production coming out of South Africa on NuLu Music. Monocles & Slezz are not newcomers to the NuLu Music roster, having showed their finesse on such remixes as Amarte Asi by Pablo Fierro and Born To Cry by Paso Doble and now with their own debut project for NuLu Music.
This release comes with a hot package of remixers lending their own individual sound sure to set dance floors a blaze! Remixers include Renato Xtrova, Problem Child, DJ Alpha, Ta-Ice, Oral Deep, Igor Jicks and Betasweet!
